Licensed Psychologist Dr. Jen Joseph is a PSYPACT approved provider in New York, New Jersey, and provides online therapy.

SCHEDULING AND SESSIONS

To schedule an initial consultation appointment, please fill out the form below. You can also email me or text/call my confidential phone number: (917) 456-9129. If I do not answer, I will get back to you within 24-hours. I’m happy to speak by phone free of charge.

My email address is: dr.jenjoseph@gmail.com. Generally, I am able to schedule a face to face consultation appointment within the first week or two of initial contact.

Appointment Details

After we set up an initial consultation appointment, I will email you with a zoom link or directions to my office and some forms to complete.

For individual consultation appointments, we will meet for 45 minutes, and for couples we will meet for 60 minutes. Typically, we will talk about what brings you in to therapy, a little bit about you, your upbringing, family history, career, relationship history, and what you would like to get out of therapy. We will also discuss the best treatment approach for you. This may include individual sessions, couples, family, or conjoint sessions and/or group therapy – or some combination.

Cancellations

For Individual, Couples and Online therapy sessions, I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. I request that you pay the full session fee if you are unable to give at least 48-hours notice prior to a cancellation because I am holding the appointment time for you. Without a minimum of 48-hours notice, it is difficult to fill the appointment slot.

For group therapy sessions, you are asked to pay for your spot in the group even if you are unable to attend. The weekly “fixed” fee guarantees you a spot in the group for as long as you continue to participate.

Fees and Payment Types

Individual sessions: $250

Couples sessions: $300

Group sessions: $85

I am an Out of Network Provider for all commercial insurance plans. Upon request, I will give you a statement or superbill of services provided. It is up to you to submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement. Typically, the process is very simple and makes working together very affordable.

I use Quickbooks and email invoices that can be paid via credit/debit cards, HSA cards or via Zelle.
